Justin Bieber- Die In Your Arms
Yesterday I was in the car and the radio was on. A Stevie Wonder track was playing (I honestly don’t remember which one) and I said to my cousin, “You know, the harpsichord REALLY needs to come back. Pop music used it all throughout the 60’s and the 70’s, but the 80’s kinda killed the Harpischord. Well, leave it to Bieber to answer my prayers. This track bleeds old-school in every way, while still managing to sound fresher and cooler than almost any Pop track put out this year so far. The simple RnB chord progression, beautiful backing harmonies, awesome dropped beats, and the plenty of great hooks, instantly puts this on my Best Songs of 2012 list.
Boyfriend made me nervous about how Believe was going to sound. And Turn To You REALLY made me worried. But after hearing All Around the World and this song, I’ve regained my confidence that this is easily going to be one of the best albums of the year.
